Position Overview:

Sales Representatives are the principal point of contact liaising our business with customers. In this key position as an Outside Sales Representative, you are responsible for prospecting and developing new business as well as building relationships with existing accounts. In many ways, Sales Reps are the face of the company and your role ensures customers are cared for at the highest level of service while providing valuable knowledge and trusted advocacy. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales and the owners of the company

  • Utilizes and embraces Artisan’s ZOHO customer resource management platform on a routine basis(daily/weekly) to track and share your personal effort in prospecting new leads and contacts. UsesZOHO to update efforts on existing accounts as well as grow our customer base with accountsthat are a good fit for the products and services Artisan offers, including appropriate outsourcingopportunities.
  • Develops and hones unique selling proposition to find suitable customers that are seekingpartnerships versus those seeking a low-cost print supplier. Strives for sizable accounts that haveconsistent printing needs for their business operations.
  • Liaise with potential prospects and existing customers through in-person meetings, email, phone,or other electronic media. Serves customers by selling Artisan’s products and exceeding customerexpectations.
  • Possesses strong sales acumen through ample preparation and by not taking responses personallyregardless of the outcome. Is calm under pressure, asks thoughtful questions, displays effectivelistening skills and relentlessly demonstrates product value.
  • Fosters a strong company culture through consistent communication of customer objectives andimprovement opportunities. Cultivates a friendly, respectful rapport with their manufacturingcounterparts working to motivate and inspire the employees of our company through a teamworkapproach.
  • Learns, utilizes, and embraces Artisan’s printIQ MIS platform on a routine basis to estimate work, winjobs, and monitor on-time delivery of awarded jobs on behalf of our customers.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, to network new opportunitiesand provide information to the company’s leadership team on market movement and industry trends.
  • Continuously seeks to improve Artisan’s profitability by making sure each job quoted is estimatedaccurately to the manufacturing and destination specifications provided.
  • Understands the company handbook, employment policies, and practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or higher, plus sales experience in the printing industry.
  • Likable, tenacious, confident and professional prospector with impeccable integrity across allbusiness dealings.
  • Builds strong customer relationships through respectful business dealings based on trust andindustry knowledge.
  • Superior communicator and presenter. Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and digitalcommunication skills.
  • Highly organized, creates strategic plans, puts them in motion, and measures effectiveness.
  • Comprehends and embraces technology as it correlates to internal and external businessoperations.
  • Results-oriented, drives execution, follows tasks through to completion.
  • Advanced use of computer software including: MS Office, Google Gmail, and Internet Browsing/Research.
  • General understanding of the printing industry and its common print processes.

Position Overview:

The Wide Format Finishing Associate will assist in all areas of Wide Format Finishing Production. This includes: laminating, frame assembly, packaging, cutting, sorting, weeding, masking, and prepping/mounting acrylics. The associate will be able to read and interpret job tickets and specifications, input the correct settings, monitor equipment, and troubleshoot any problems that arise during the finishing process or with equipment. Training in these areas will be provided as workflow permits. This position has the possibility of job growth in other departments. In this position, you will report to the Director of Large Format and VP of Manufacturing.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the daily output of our HP Indigo 7K and Canon imagePRESS V1350 presses, ensuring flawless print production, maintaining equipment for optimal performance, and adhering to strict quality control standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate with Excellence: Expertly manage our 7-color HP Indigo 7K press and 4-color Canon imagePRESS V1350, ensuring top-tier print quality and efficient production.
  • Finishing Expertise: Perform a variety of finishing techniques, including cutting, creasing, folding, stitching, and drilling, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Quality Champion: Meticulously inspect printed materials to ensure they meet our high standards for quality and consistency.
  • Maintenance Expert: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on our digital presses, including changing inks, replenishing consumables, and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Color Accuracy: Maintain accurate color calibration throughout press runs, making adjustments as needed to meet client specifications.
  • Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

  • Certified Expert: HP Operation Certification Level 2 is required. HP Maintenance Certification is a strong advantage.
  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience setting up, running, and troubleshooting an HP Indigo Digital press.
  • Finishing Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform digital finishing operations independently, including laminating, die-cutting, and UV varnish.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical, mechanical, and computer skills are essential.
  • Color Matching: Exceptional color matching abilities and the ability to pass a color vision deficiency test.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.

Schedule

  • Full-time + overtime when necessary
  • First Shift (8-hour)
  • Monday through Friday
  • Occasional weekends
